55th Class reunion with an emphasis on finding ALL of our old classmates. Event will include dining, live music, dancing, conversations and catching up with our former high school friends and acquaintances. If you can have this included in your community calendar for the next two weeks, I think it will help a lot.
Can you say the following on air in the community happenings?
"The Neville High School class of 1971 is looking for ALL of our classmates for a very special 55-year reunion on October 3rd, 2026 in Monroe! If you were in that graduating class or know someone who was, please reach out right away to us at lesliegc@hotmail.com or text 318-366-9124. You don't want to miss this!"

The FoBB Fall Celebration is Friends of Black Bayou’s annual gift to the community, with free nature-oriented activities for all ages. From food trucks to free kayaking to kids’ games to guided nature walks to a photography contest and more, there’s something for everyone!
The Friends of Black Bayou Fall Celebration returns on Saturday, October 17 from 10 am to 1 pm, and all are invited to enjoy a day of nature, science activities and learning from community partners at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Come explore hands on nature stations, meet native animals, and enjoy art and science activities. Join us at 10 am for “Walk with Wildlife,” then help us turn the Blue Goose Migration Marker at 11 am. Big D’s Backyard BBQ will be on-site serving lunch, and FoBB will once again offer the beloved Black Bayou Mud Pies. Visitors can also view the 2026 photo contest winners. With canoeing, crafts and creative photo ops, it’s a great way to celebrate our community’s connection to this beautiful refuge.
