This is a night run that will take place behind the levee across from Forsythe Park. Sleep late Saturday morning, then come out for a two mile PR that night! Medals will be awarded to overall male and female, masters male and females, and top three in ten year age groups.

Make plans now to attend The Wellspring Bowl & Bling presented by Trinity Diamonds Direct Friday, August 21 from 7-10 p.m. at Bayou Bowl. Bowl & Bling is a fun night out where it is not your skill that counts – it’s YOU!
Come join the fun as we throw strikes, spares, and more than a few gutterballs to raise money for one of Northeast Louisiana’s oldest and most effective non-profits! Enjoy unlimited bowling in the black lights while listening to a variety of great music by DJ TBayB. We’ll have some delicious food thanks to Trapp’s and drinks from Marsala Beverage!
Each team can have up to six people on it. $100 per person includes bowling, food, drinks and shoe rental. You can register as a team or individually. $50 tickets are available for non-bowlers who just want to enjoy the food and fun.

The Sportsman's Expo is where hunting, fishing, and the great outdoor come to life under one roof. Visitors can explore gear, meet brands and local experts, and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. From vendors to demonstrations, it's a weekend celebrating everything that makes North Louisiana a true sportsman's paradise, with items from more than 50 vendor booths.

Fun trivia quiz for a different charity each month, every 2nd Monday. Play fun game in teams of up to 8 people. Charities include Johnny Robinson Boys Home, MedCamps, St. Francis Foundation, Renewal Center, etc.

The FoBB Fall Celebration is Friends of Black Bayou’s annual gift to the community, with free nature-oriented activities for all ages. From food trucks to free kayaking to kids’ games to guided nature walks to a photography contest and more, there’s something for everyone!
The Friends of Black Bayou Fall Celebration returns on Saturday, October 17 from 10 am to 1 pm, and all are invited to enjoy a day of nature, science activities and learning from community partners at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Come explore hands on nature stations, meet native animals, and enjoy art and science activities. Join us at 10 am for “Walk with Wildlife,” then help us turn the Blue Goose Migration Marker at 11 am. Big D’s Backyard BBQ will be on-site serving lunch, and FoBB will once again offer the beloved Black Bayou Mud Pies. Visitors can also view the 2026 photo contest winners. With canoeing, crafts and creative photo ops, it’s a great way to celebrate our community’s connection to this beautiful refuge.
