Northeast Louisiana is ready to shine at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, as 90.3 KEDM Public Radio hosts a gala event honoring its 34-year legacy of service to the region and five years of The Boot, KEDM's Louisiana-music-focused nighttime program.

Join 2024 Louisiana Food Prize Golden Fork Winner Chef Melvin Nelson, Jr. for a four course culinary exploration of one of his favorite ingredients: Rice. Set to the sounds of some of his favorite music, surrounded by art, and immersed with kindred foodie spirits, this is a Sunday afternoon that is sure to be amongst your favorite memories of 2025! ULM fraternities and sororities team up to present the much-anticipated NPHC Homecoming Step Show. Steeped in tradition, the chapters will stroll, step, dance. and cheer at 8:00 p.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. All community members are invited to purchase tickets.

Enjoy delicious food and drinks, catch up with old friends, dance the night away, and even win a raffle prize. This party is sure to be a good time!
