The Wellspring would like to invite our friends and neighbors to join us at our 94th Annual Meeting & Luncheon Thursday, February 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Methodist Monroe on Loop Road. This is a great chance to learn about our organization, and the impact we have in our community.
The 2024 Annual Report will be presented, and an update on future initiatives will be given. New board members and officers will be elected and outgoing board member will be honored. In addition, volunteers of the year will be recognized, and staff service awards will be presented. Lunch will be provided.
As always, thank you for your support of our local programs and services.

Juror’s talk and awards: 6:30 PM
The Masur Museum of Art’s Annual Juried Competition showcases contemporary artists throughout the United States of America working in any medium. First started in 1964, the Annual Juried Competition is the Masur Museum’s longest-running tradition and one of its best-reviewed exhibitions each year.
Receptions at the Masur Museum of Art are free and open to the public. Light food and refreshments are served and ID for alcoholic beverages is required. Parking at the museum is limited so carpooling is suggested.

Champions of Faith is special women’s conference held at Fair Park Baptist Church. Starting at 4:00, there will be a shopping experience featuring local vendors and food trucks. At 6:00 we will kick off a time of worship followed by several local women sharing their inspirational testimonies.

Ouachita Parish Public Library - West Ouachita Branch is having a book sale on the last Friday and Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those attending can shop for books (paperback and hardback), CD's, and DVD's.

Come shop a wide range of books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, magazines, and knick-knacks. We have a large selection of suspense novels, cookbooks, romances, biographies, paperbacks, and books on religion. Don't forget our ever-popular children's book room. These slightly used books carry the pricetag, with a few exceptions, of $2 or less.

Jubilation Jazz will present a free concert honoring Richland Parish First Responders. The show’s format will be a Live 40’s Radio Performance. The concert is open to the public. Come out, enjoy the music and thank your neighbors who are first responders.

Ouachita Green's Household Hazardous Waste event, Saturday, March 16, 9am-1pm at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center, 501 Mane Street, West Monroe. This event is open to households to bring items so they can be properly disposed of or recycled. This keeps our environment safe, and items out of the landfills that can be recycled.
