Louisiana Tech Concert Association is proud to host Dr. Celil Refik Kaya, guitar, in Howard Auditorium on Thursday, January 22nd. This 7PM concert is free and open to the public.

Dr. Kaya will also present a Guitar Master Class on Friday, January 23rd at 9AM in the Recital Hall of Howard Center. That afternoon at 2PM, he will also give a talk to students in the Recital Hall.

These events are free and open to the public.

Board game day at the Lincoln Parish Library! Free an open the public! Bring your favorite games, or come learn some new ones from players willing and ready to teach. Everyone is welcome!

Enjoy a selection of local bakeries’ King Cakes to make your carnival season sweeter and maybe find your favorite in town.

There will also be a chance to have the first look at our Mardi Gras gown and costume exhibit provided by the Krewe or Janus

Comics and pop-culture festival for all ages! Featuring card and board games, face painting, trivia, origami, zines, lightsaber battles, and more!
Attendees who come in costume are also invited to take part in a costume contest. Food and drinks provided while supplies last.

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler! The Krewe of Janus Children's Mardi Gras Parade will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Pecanland Mall. Watch children roll by in decorated mini-Mardi Gras floats throwing beads, candy, and other throws! This year's theme is "Throw Me Somethin' Mister!" Lineup is at 9:00 AM and the parade will roll out at 10:00 AM in the Center Court.

Head to Strauss Theatre Center for Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts' production of "The Spongebob Musical"! Performances are February 28th at 2pm and 7pm, March 1st at 3pm, March 7th at 2pm and 7pm, and March 8th at 3pm.
