New Iona Presbyterian Church will have a Celtic worship service on Oct 8 following the traditions of the Celtic culture. Emerald Accent will play during the service, there will be a family picnic with music, games, and fun after the service. All are invited.

Activities for all ages will encompass a wide range of engaging experiences. These will include the highly anticipated turning of the Blue Goose Migration Marker, as well as the annual photo contest exhibit, captivating displays of native animals, a nature book sale, free opportunities for canoeing and kayaking, face painting, the chance to interact with native animals, engaging science-based fun, information on recycling and anti-littering, weather and climate-related activities, various arts and crafts stations, the unique opportunity to witness artists working on-site, and numerous creative photo ops, just to name a few!
In making this event a reality, we are proud to have the involvement of several community organizations, scouts, high school clubs, and local universities. Additionally, the esteemed assistance of Fish and Wildlife Service staff and the devoted members of Friends of Black Bayou will further enhance the experience for everyone.
This exciting array of activities ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy and learn from. Whether you are young or young at heart, join us for a day filled with fun, education, and memorable moments at this year's event!

The 5th annual Veterans' Parade welcomes all to enter carts, buggies, horses, and all manners of conveyance in the parade to honor those who have served America in the armed forces.
The parade assembles at the Crossett Parade Grounds at 8 a.m. At 10 a.m. the parade will travel through downtown.
Prizes will be awarded for the best family-friendly decorations. Celebrity judges include a district judge, a county judge, and a circuit judge.

Light up your bikes, trikes, wagons and battery-powered cars for a parade under the Christmas lights in downtown West Monroe! Everyone will gather up at 5:15 p.m. and the parade will start at 6:00 p.m.
