As we enter our 105th year of service to the community, The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ouachita proudly announces its 71st Annual Pancake Day to be held at First Methodist Church on Loop Road in Monroe on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Meals will be served from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and dine in and take out are available. Tickets can be purchased from Kiwanis members and at the door for $10.

Donations from Pancake Day enrich the lives of children and those in need in Ouachita Parish and Northeast Louisiana. Last year’s Pancake Day allowed the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ouachita to give over $24,000 to children’s organizations, scholarships, and nonprofits. The Kiwanis Club sponsored K-Kids at Highland Elementary, the Builder’s Club at River Oaks, Key Clubs at West Monroe, Neville, Sterlington High Schools, and OCS. We awarded scholarships to graduating Key Club seniors. Other highlights include partnering with MedCamps, sponsoring the Bikes for Books program at the Ouachita Parish Library , investing in the Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum, and funding hundreds of books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for children in our area.

With the community’s support through sponsorships and ticket sales, the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ouachita plans to have another successful year raising funds to reinvest in improving the lives of children in our community. Sponsorship and ticket information is available at kiwanisgreaterouachita.org or by emailing kiwanisgreaterouachita@gmail.com.
