The ULM College of Business and Social Sciences Symposium Kickoff Keynote. Our very first keynote speaker is back in honor of “Celebrating our Past,” to tell her story and what her journey has been. She was the Vice President of Internal Audit at WorldCom, later MCI. In 2002, she lead a team of auditors to uncover $3.8 billion in fraud, which lead to the largest bankruptcy at the time and was named one of Time magazine’s “People of the Year” for 2002.

As we approach the sixtieth anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the Union Museum of History and Art will be hosting an exhibit of historical photographs of the Kennedy presidency entitled “American Visionary: John F. Kennedy’s Life and Times.” For the opening night reception, Dr. Ralph Brown of the University of Louisiana Monroe will serve as the featured speaker.
