The Southern Miss Lady Eagles and UL Monroe Warhawks meet in the Sun Belt Tournament. Thursday's game is the third meeting this season between the two teams. The Lady Eagles won the last matchup 68-61. Southern Miss is 8-10 against the Sun Belt, and UL Monroe is 8-11 against the Sun Belt.

The 2026 Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup for undergraduates and graduates students will be the premier business plan competition for the state of Louisiana with one of the largest cash prizes in the nation.

On Thursday, February 26th. The Hawkeye will celebrate Student Press Freedom Day. A day to raise awareness and fight for their freedom of speech.

The ULM College of Pharmacy is hosting the 9th Annual Poor Man’s Run on Saturday, February 28th. The event raises funds for the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy, which provides medication assistance to patients in need.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced low-interest federal disaster loans are now available to small businesses and private nonprofit (PNP) organizations in Louisiana who sustained economic losses caused by 2026 severe winter storm occurring Jan. 23-25.

Tuohy spoke about the importance of bringing fun to ULM Athletics. “College sports are supposed to be fun. Winning matters. We’re in an outcome-driven business, but if we’re not having fun, then don’t be here,” said Tuohy.

The Holidays at ULM festivities will take place at Scott Plaza, adjacent to the ULM Library. The event will be hosted by the newly crowned Miss ULM Katherine McCullars and Mr. ULM Braden Tucker. ULM President Dr. Carrie Castille will offer remarks and light the tree.

Kaleidoscope will take place in Brown Theatre, 4001 DeSiard St. in Monroe on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $20 per person. ULM faculty and staff tickets are $15 per person with ID. The ULM football team suffered a 31-14 loss to Texas State on Saturday, November 22. While the game began as a defensive showdown, the Bobcats pulled ahead in the third quarter. ULM's record now stands at 3-8 overall and 1-6 in Sun Belt play, while Texas State improves to 5-6 overall and 2-5 in the conference.
