Along with her husband, Mr. Ted Price, Mrs. Marjorie S. Price was a pioneer in the nursing home industry in Louisiana. Mrs. Price and her family were actively engaged in the early developmental stages of ULM’s DPT program, providing financial support and also being strong advocates.

The accreditation process involves a multiyear assessment and thorough external review of the college’s mission, strategic plan, curricula, student and faculty engagement, and impact on society. Schools work with a coordinator and peer-review team to ensure alignment with NASM accreditation standards.

The funds provided by Amwins will support student and faculty travel to visit companies and brokers in cities such as Dallas and Chicago. The funds will also support recruitment and marketing efforts, including a sponsorship with ULM Warhawk Athletics, as well as student scholarships and support of events like the ULM RMI Career Fair and Career Fair Reception.
