Rekindling the rivalry, ULM and Tech participate in the Radiance Technologies I-20 Showdown

The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) and Louisiana Tech University have introduced the Radiance Technologies I-20 Showdown Rivalry Series, a new initiative aimed at intensifying the competitive spirit between the two institutions. Located just 30 minutes apart, these schools will compete across 12 sports, enhancing both athletic engagement and community pride.

The series will award points for wins in head-to-head matches, season series, and conference standings. Every athlete's performance is crucial, with their contributions impacting overall standings. A trophy will be awarded annually to the winning school, with design input from fans, further involving the community.

In case of a tie, the football game's outcome will serve as a tiebreaker.
