Juneteenth month celebrated at Northeast Louisiana Delta African-American Heritage Museum

The Northeast Louisiana African-American Heritage Museum is hosting a slate of events to celebrate Juneteenth Month in Monroe. Ross Slacks joins us to talk about four events being held at the museum in Chennault Park.

June 16 the museum will host He Matters. The event will honor African-American men in the community. The day will begin early on June 17 with a morning Walk-a-thon followed by a Family Fun Day featuring food trucks, games, and vendors. June 30 the museum will host Tim Mitchell and a Salute to Motown Review.
