The Masur Museum of Arts presents the return of Party 318! The celebration takes place at the Masur Museum of Arts, 1400 South Grand Street on Thursday, October 20, 2022.
During the evening, guests will help Raise The Roof. This is a roof tile fund raiser for the permanent collection. Area artists are creating a work of art using one of the original blue slate tiles from the museum’s roof. In 2020, a tornado hit the museum causing roof damage and not all the original tiles from the 1929 roof were able to be reused. Artists have used the tiles to create new pieces to benefit the care of the collection. Tiles will be displayed in the Lower River Gallery of the Masur Museum from October 10-20, and also online at www.32auctions.com/raisetherooftile. The tile artworks will be auctioned and the bidding takes place online only and will end when pARTy 318 ends at 8:00 pm on October 20.
Free food and drinks will be available at the event, adult beverages will require an I.D.
