Downtown Gallery Crawl Returns August 4 with Art Music and Food

Downtown Gallery Crawl will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, and end at 9 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to shop unique works of art in Monroe and West Monroe while listening to music.

Artists will be set up at the Neville House, Revival Design and Consign, Flying Tiger Brewery, Ascent, La Bella, Palace Gallery, Art Alley Marketplace, Anapolé, and Atomic Vintage in Monroe, and Alley Park in Downtown West Monroe.

Rae Tedeton, resident artist, has painted a new mural on Art Alley.

The Downtown Arts Alliance was formed in 2009. Brooke Foy, president of Downtown Arts Alliance, said "The whole mission is to bring an opportunity for the community to get out and see art, find art. We've sort of evolved into creating an event that showcases a lot of local talent, but also tries to bring in a good balance of regional talent as well. To showcase art, sell art, and really to educate on art as well."

More information about the artwork and artists is available at Downtown Gallery Crawl.
