What Is Our Downtown Uniqueness?

Miller-Roy building in dowtown Monroe PRESTON LAUTERBACH / PRESTONLAUTERBACH.COM
The Miller-Roy building is set to be redeveloped in Monroe.

Downtown areas sometimes struggle without a strong business base. Bill Roark is a long time commercial real estate broker. He knows what it takes to attract business and devolopment in downtown areas. Roark thinks there must be a "Uniqueness" to hook  people into using downtown areas.  KEDM Policy and a Pint: A Rebirth on the River will tackle downtown redevelopment  with an expert panel that will answer audience questions.

Join KEDM for Policy and a Pint: A Rebirth on the River on Tuesday, September 18 at Trapps - 113 Riverfront, West Monroe. There will be a meet and greet at 5:30 p.m. and the "LIVE" radio discussion will start at 6:00 p.m.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
