SYAA presents High School Zombical, the one-week workshop that answers the burning question: when high school zombies dance, do they lose body parts? Zombies have more fun! This workshop open to ages 5-12 is taught by adult area teachers. The workshop features a show-off performance at noon on Friday. It is a fun introduction to theatre arts for participants with some theatre experience or with none at all.
Union Museum of History and Art will host an exciting exhibit, "Expedition: Ice Age," from the Palm Beach Museum of Natural History from April 26 to August 5. Bring the kids! They'll love seeing a life-size saber-tooth tiger skeleton replica, mastodon jaw and tusks, and dozens of other fossils. Everyone will enjoy learning about the great last Ice Age --- called the Pleistocene Epoch --- some 12,000 to 115,000 years ago when vast glaciers spread across North America and Eurasia and strange megafauna roamed the land.Museum hours: Tuesday-Friday, 1 to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Museum tel #: 318-982-8020
