HYPE stands for Healthy Young People Empowerment and is a new initiative of the LSU AgCenter Ouachita Parish Extension Office. Our team is one of many teams throughout the state participating in the HYPE Project. The HYPE Project was developed by Eat Smart, Move More South Carolina (ESMMSC) and its partners to empower youth to take action to make their communities healthier. In Ouachita Parish, HYPE is a collaboration among SNAP-Ed, EFNEP, and Ouachita 4-H. HYPE will kick off in July 2021 and is open to youth ages 13 to 18. If you would like to have fun and make your community a better place, sign up now. You can register online at the link provided or by contacting the LSU AgCenter Ouachita Parish Extension Office at 318-323-2251. For more information, contact LSU AgCenter Ouachita Parish at 318-323-2251 or email: Cathy Agan - email@example.com, Kim Butcher - firstname.lastname@example.org, or Tara Garlington - email@example.com. Visit us on Facebook at LSU AgCenter Ouachita Parish or at Ouachita 4-H to learn more about our programs.
