This is a fund raiser for the Salvation Army. We will have food and non-food venders serving various dishes and we will have special guest speaker Dr. David Uth along with special video appearances by Mayor Friday Ellis, Mayor Staci Mitchell, and U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy and Congresswoman Julia Letlow.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Chris Lewis and the Coney Island Connection staff will be hosting again their fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Saturday, September 20 from 10:30 AM till 2:30 PM. Half of chili dog and chili cheese dogs will be given to St. Jude. Great food for a great cause!
