The National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts impacts of Hurricane Ida to reach Ouachita Parish late Sunday and continue into Monday afternoon. A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Ouachita Parish. Rain may reach 1-2 inches in the ArkLaMiss and winds are estimated to be 30-50 mph, according to the latest NWS update.

Since safety is our priority, ULM will be closed Monday, August 30 out of an abundance of caution. As of now, ULM employees and students will resume their normal work and class schedules on Tuesday, August 31.

The ULM Library will close today, Sunday, August 29 at 5 p.m. Food Services will operate under regular hours today, Sunday.

On Monday, Schulze (only) will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

We encourage our employees and students not to travel during the storm. If you must travel, please take all precautions when driving.
