ULM's 'Art For All' To Showcase Local Artwork

In honor of February as Black History Month, the University of Louisiana Monroe is hosting the “Art for All” Showcase.

This art contest is open to current ULM students, faculty, and staff. Artists working in any medium are invited to submit one original piece of artwork inspired by the theme "Diversity, Unity, and Education."

The two categories are Students, and Faculty and Staff. Awards in each category are $500 for first place, $250 for second place, and $125 for third place.

Entries must be submitted by Feb. 12, 2021, and delivered to the Office of Marketing and Communications, Library 205 by 11:30am. Entries must include the name, email and phone number of the artist.

The artwork will be displayed throughout the library. The showcase will conclude on May 9, 2021, and artwork must be picked up by May 13, 2021.

Winning pieces will assume full ownership by ULM and will be displayed around campus indefinitely.
