The World Champion Cadets will visit Monroe on Tuesday

The 10-time Drum Corps International World Champion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps will be on the University of Louisiana Monroe campus on Tuesday, July 24 for a day of rehearsals followed by a performance.

The Corps will present their 2018 show in Malone Stadium at approximately 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend the rehearsals and performance.

According to Corps Director Dr. Drew Shanefield, the 2018 program was inspired by the famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi, "Unity, to be real, must stand the severest strain without breaking."

The mission of Drum Corps International is to bring the life-enriching benefits and enjoyment of marching music performing arts to more people worldwide. This is done by creating a stage for participating organizations to engage in education, competition, entertainment and the promotion of individual growth.
