This year's theme is: Addiction and Maternal Health: Opioid Use in Vulnerable Populations. This important event will bring together healthcare professionals, behavioral health providers, and community leaders to explore the latest developments in opioid prevention, treatment, recovery, and community response.
Speakers include: NEDHSA Executive Director Dr. Monteic A. Sizer; Dr. Vanessa de la Cruz, Louisiana Department of Health; Melinda Robinson, MBA, Louisiana Office of Behavioral Health; Carrie Templeton, Louisiana Department of Health; Ivory Wilson, MA, LAC; and Shena Molina Despain, a motivational speaker on addiction recovery.
