The University of Louisiana at Monroe's Alumni Association will host the second annual HawktoberFest on October 10.
Those who attend the festival will enjoy beer tastings from a variety of beers from Flying Tiger Brewery, Marsala Beverage and Choice Brands. A valid ID must be shown to partake in the tasting.
The event will have German cuisine for attendees to try and everyone will go home with a commemorative beer stein.
Josh Madden will provide musical entertainment and boat rides will be provided by B&L Marine.
This event will be held at the Laird Weems Center Bayou Side Patio and tickets can be purchased online.
