House Speaker Michael Hubbard goes on trial today for corruption. Meanwhile, Governor Robert Bentley faces possible impeachment for inappropriate conduct with a female aide. Also, state supreme court chief justice, Roy Moore, could lose his job for defying federal court rulings on same-sex marriage.
Alabama historian Wayne Flynt tells Here & Now’s Robin Young that people in Alabama are “prepared for the very worst, and I think they’re probably going to get the very worst.”
