Adopting In China, And A Lesson In Motherhood

Becoming a mother can be one of life’s most rewarding experiences, but also one of its most challenging. For Elizabeth Fitzsimons, the challenges began before she even brought her daughter home from China. She told her story in The New York Times’ Modern Love column, and it was recently adapted for Modern Love: The Podcast, a collaboration between The Times and WBUR.
