Less than 1 percent of assets and revenue in the nonprofit world go to organizations that exclusively serve veterans and military members. Now, philanthropist Steven Cohen is putting $275 million towards a venture called Cohen Veterans Network.
Cohen will be opening 25 clinics across the country in the next three to five years, free of charge to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health issues.
