GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of radical generosity to transform communities and the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This year The University of Louisiana Monroe's GivingTuesday efforts will focus on the Class of 2031. 2031 will be the 100th anniversary of ULM. Over 2000 3rd graders were recently given a book that that included a $500 college scholarship. The partnership between ULM and The United Way will steward 3rd graders until they reach college.

ULM hopes to have GivingTuesday gifts increase Class of 2031 Centennial Scholarship Program. Gifts can also be made to focus on other areas of the university. More information can be found at ULM.edu.
