Entergy Louisiana has announced a $2 million investment in utility bill assistance, partnering with United Ways across Louisiana to provide eligible residential customers with a one-time $100 credit applied directly to their Entergy Louisiana account.

This assistance is designed to help households struggling to keep up with essential expenses, including ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families who work but still struggle to afford necessities.

Eligible Entergy Louisiana customers residing in the following Northeast Louisiana parishes may apply:

Cadwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, and West Carroll.

Applicants must:

  • Be residential Entergy Louisiana customers.
  • Be the account holder or an authorized user.
  • Meet household income guidelines.
  • Reside in an eligible participating parish.

Have the following information ready before applications open:

  1. State-issued photo ID
  2. Most recent Entergy bill
  3. First page of your 2025 tax return (or applicable alternative documentation)
  4. Entergy account number
  5. Basic household information

Applications are open now. Funding is limited and expected to be exhausted quickly. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance. Approved credits will be applied directly to eligible Entergy Louisiana accounts and may take up to 90 days.
