Keep Louisiana Beautiful invites community leaders, businesses, and environmental advocates to its annual State Conference, December 7–9, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Executive Center in Baton Rouge. Register on the KLB State Conference webpage by Wednesday, October 7, to secure early bird pricing.
The conference brings together people working to strengthen communities through recycling, waste reduction, litter prevention, sustainability, and volunteerism. Attendees will gain practical tools, inspiration, and new partnerships through educational sessions, networking opportunities, and optional field trips.
Join over 300 attendees from across Louisiana. This is the only statewide conference of its kind, bringing together environmental leaders, KLB affiliates, community advocates, educators, businesses, and local and state government representatives.
Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser will help kick off the two‑day event, setting the stage for dynamic learning, meaningful collaboration, and networking with leaders committed to creating cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful Louisiana communities.
This year’s conference will explore key statewide and national issues, beginning with the Keep America Beautiful 2026 National Litter Study, and highlight evidence-based strategies to reduce litter and improve community environments.
Attendees will also hear from MR100, the Mississippi River Great Flood Centennial initiative — a sweeping, multi‑year effort examining the legacy of the 1927 flood and what communities can expect for the river’s next 100 years.
KLB encourages residents to nominate individuals, businesses, and organizations whose efforts help prevent litter, strengthen communities, and inspire action. Nominations for the 2026 Everyday Hero Awards are due October 7. Recipients will be honored at the Everyday Hero Awards luncheon on December 9. Submit your nominations on the KLB Everyday Hero Awards webpage.
