The Water Innovation Studio of Louisiana has reached its first major milestone with the successful transition of FloodID, partnering with ICEYE, a technology used to gather flood information and provide damage protection.
Developed through years of applied research and operational testing, FloodID provides predictive flood information that helps communities prepare and respond to flood events. The new partnership with ICEYE creates a pathway to expand FloodID’s reach, bringing better, faster, and more localized flood information to more decision-makers working to protect lives, property, and communities.
Within a short amount of time, the studio reached the milestone, an example of how Louisiana's experience and hard work provide tools and partnerships that can benefit other communities and states.
