Drew Brees, who is newly enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will be further honored with induction into the Saints Ring of Honor on October 11th. He will be the ninth person to receive this accolade, joining legends like Archie Manning and Rickey Jackson.

The ceremony will take place at halftime during the Saints' Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings at the Caesars Superdome. The Ring of Honor celebrates individuals who have profoundly impacted the team.

As the first Saints player to become a first-ballot Hall of Famer, Brees led New Orleans to its only Super Bowl win in the 2009 season and was named MVP.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
