Monroe, LA – KEDM Public Radio, in collaboration with the Monroe and West Monroe - West Ouachita Chambers of Commerce and the University of Louisiana Monroe, held a "Meet The Candidates" forum for Louisiana's 5th Congressional District. This free event took place on Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at the University of Louisiana Monroe Bayou Pointe Event Center.
The forum provided voters with an opportunity to hear directly from Republican and Democrat candidates vying for the 5th Congressional District seat. The forum aimed to foster informed decision-making among constituents by allowing candidates to share their platforms and address key issues.
The forum was presented by 90.3 KEDM Public Radio and moderated by KEDM News Director Cory Crowe.
