The U.S. Postal Service will issue Bald Eagle: Hatchling to Adult commemorative postage stamps on May 14th at 11:00 a.m.
The first day of issue, a free outdoor event, at the National Eagle Center in Minnesota, is hosted in honor of the stamps.

The bald eagle stamp has been a favorite stamp subject for more than a century; the stamp being issued offers a new look at the American icon and illustrates the eagle at different stages of life.

The bald eagle has been celebrated by U.S. Stamps since 1969. This new issue will continue the tradition of the majestic bird. Bald Eagle: Hatchling to Adult stamps will be issued in panes of 20. As Forever stamps, they will always be equal in value to the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce price.
