AmeriCorps CEO visits National Service sites in New Orleans

On Saturday, March 12, AmeriCorps CEO, Michael D. Smith, will tour AmeriCorps programs in New Orleans. The day will include visits to the New Orleans Books Festival where City Year NOLA, an education nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students and schools succeed, will engage students with literary activities, a tour of the AmeriCorps NCCC Rebuilding Together New Orleans site providing disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Ida and a tour of an AmeriCorps NCCC and NECHAMA home rehabilitation site.
