Monroe's First Lady Named To Principal Post

Ashley Ellis has been named the new principal at Neville Junior High. Ellis will replace Dana Mullins. Mullins has been named the new supervisor of Human Resources for the school board.

Ellis served as the Assistant Principal of Neville High School and on the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. She is married to Monroe Mayor Friday Ellis.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
