A West Monroe man has admitted to stealing $400,000 from G.B. Cooley.

Edward E. Calloway, age 40, was the staff accountant for the hospital.

Auditors had sent a records request and Calloway confessed due to his fear of being caught stealing.

This theft had been going on for a number of years, and Calloway was booked at Ouachita Correctional Center on Friday, October 25.
