Tallulah Faces One Problem After The Other

Frozen water in pipe

Earlier in the month cold temperatures caused Tallulah water systems to freeze preventing residents from accessing water. This went on for about two weeks until the issue was fixed Tuesday. School continued in earnest when the water supply came back on but didn’t last for long.

Just a few hours later on Wednesday a control panel at the water plant blew causing water supply to stop.  This was as a result of electrical issues and the school day was cut short.

Administrative Assistant to the Mayor, Yvonne Lewis, says she is unaware when school will be back in sessions and has asked for water donations to the people of Tallulah.
