The number six Forsythe Fire Station was temporarily closed since October 11th due to a report of mold in the station.
Monroe City Fire Chief Terry Williams announced the number six Forsythe Fire Station will reopen and be fully operational today, Tuesday 24th, at 8 am. The mold remediation process has been completed. The post-remediation tests have been conducted and the results have come back clear.
