Many Monroe Flights Cancelled Due To Harvey

Flooding has stopped air traffic using Houston airports.

Seven airline flights to or from Houston via the Monroe Regional Airport have been cancelled.  Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport  and Houston Hobby Airport both are having flooding issues on their runways. The pooling of water on or over the runways in Houston is making it impossible for planes to takeoff or land.

Both airports are closed until further notice.  This situation may continue for many days.

Passengers are urged to check with airlines for the latest information.
