West Monroe Teen Arrested In Hit and Run Accident

A West Monroe man has been arrested for an alleged hit and run accident that left a pedestrian and infant injured. 

Michael Ethan Dunn, age 19 of West Monroe, has been booked into Ouachita Correction Center on one count of Felony Hit and Run Driving and one count of Reckless Operation. 

 
The accident happened at a school bus stop in Calhoun. 
 

A woman and infant were standing at a bus stop while a child was exiting a school bus. A car veered off the road and hit the woman and infant and the drove away. 

 
The arrest report states that Dunn admitted to smoking marijuana earlier on the day of the accident. Toxicology test results are pending. 
 

Authorities are not releasing the names of the pedestrian and infant at this time.
