POKEMON FOR PROGRESS: Players of Pokemon Go in Shreveport have pitched in to help causes from local food pantries to flood relief.

FROMPOCKETMONSTERS TO FLOOD RELIEF:   Pokemon Go players in Shreveport have turned their attention from capturingpocketmonstersto pitching in and helping out with things like food drives for local rescue missions to helping out flood victims in South Louisiana.  This story reveals how it all started with a stroll downtown,  a "Hot-Pocket" and a plea for help.

Chuck Smith brings more than 30 years' experience to Red River Radio having started out as a radio news reporter and moving into television journalism as a newsmagazine producer / host, talk-show moderator, programming director and managing producer and news director / anchor for commercial, public broadcasting and educational television.
