Movie Making 101 is a comprehensive two-week intensive course designed for aspiring young filmmakers, offering an immersive experience from concept to premiere. Held at the ULM Clarke M. Williams Innovation Campus, this workshop allows students to collaborate with ULM faculty and industry professionals to create a complete short film.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of filmmaking, including camera work, directing, editing, and sound design. With all equipment provided and no prior experience required, students will leave with a finished film ideal for college portfolios and the confidence to pursue further creative endeavors.
The camp runs from July 20-31, excluding weekends, with daily sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Limited spots are available, and the workshop fee is $250.
