Hang out with the hawks rescheduled to January 31, 2026 due to inclement weather

Event flyer for the 8th annual Hang Out with the Hawks hosted by the Hawk Squad Booster Club, featuring a benefit auction and game night on Saturday January 31st at Bayou Pointe at ULM with the event beginning at 5:30 pm

Due to inclement weather and freezing temperatures, organizers have officially postponed Hang Out With the Hawks to Saturday, January 31, 2026. Forecasts predicting rain, snow, and icy road conditions raised safety concerns for attendees, prompting the decision to reschedule the event.

The event will still begin at 5:30 p.m. on the new date, and organizers are looking forward to welcoming the community for an enjoyable and safe evening.

“We did not want to risk the safety of anyone traveling to the event,” organizers said. “We deeply appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding, and we can’t wait to see you next Saturday.”

Attendees who have questions or concerns are encouraged to reach out directly. Organizers apologize for the inconvenience and are working to notify all participants. Community members are also asked to help spread the word about the new date.

Everyone is encouraged to stay safe this weekend, and organizers look forward to gathering together soon under better conditions.
