West Monroe man arrested on multiple felony narcotics charges

Ouachita Parish, La. — Deputies with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Apprehension Team (SCAT), along with METRO Narcotics, arrested a West Monroe man on multiple felony narcotics charges following an investigation into illegal drug distribution.

On Tuesday, January 6, deputies with OPSO SCAT/METRO Narcotics received information regarding the distribution of heroin and fentanyl at a residence located in the 100 block of Norris Lane in West Monroe. During the investigation, deputies made contact with Jeromy Daniel Ambrose.

Further investigation revealed Ambrose was in possession of multiple controlled dangerous substances, including:

  • Distribution / Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Schedule I Narcotic (Kratom)
  • Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Schedule II CDS (Fentanyl)
  • Distribution / Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Schedule I Narcotic (Heroin)
  • Possession of a Schedule IV CDS (Temazepam)
  • Possession of a Schedule III CDS (Testosterone)
  • Possession of a Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)

Ambrose was transported to and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center.

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information regarding illegal drug activity to contact OPSO or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers of North Delta.
