Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office seeking public’s help in locating missing teen

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old girl, Katanna Taylor.

According to authorities, Taylor is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 118 pounds. She is missing from the area of 120 Canterbury in Monroe.

Investigators say Taylor has been known to frequent the Garden Lane and Swartz Fairbanks areas. At this time, her whereabouts remain unknown.

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who may have seen Taylor or who has information that could help locate her to contact the office immediately. Tips can be reported by calling 318-329-1200.

Officials say even small details may be helpful as the search continues.
