Kiwanis Club of Greater Ouachita Upcoming 70th Annual Pancake Day

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ouachita will hold its 70th annual Pancake Day on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at First Methodist Church, 3900 Loop Road. The event will run from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., serving pancakes, sausage, and drinks for $10 per person. Dine-in guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat, while takeout options are also available. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Kiwanis members or at the door.

Proceeds from Pancake Day help fund programs that benefit children across Monroe and the surrounding community. These include scholarships for local students, MedCamps for children with medical needs, and reading initiatives to support literacy and learning.

“Pancake Day is one of the ways we can give back to our community and help children thrive,” said Shawn Hornsby, Vice President of the Kiwanis Club. “Every year, we continue our long-term programs while also looking for new opportunities to meet local needs and make a positive impact.”

Now in its 70th year, Pancake Day remains one of the club’s most important events, bringing together neighbors and community members to enjoy a meal while supporting programs that improve the lives of children and families throughout the area.
