Origins Flute Quartet performs at ULM's Biedenharn Recital Hall

Dr. Sandra Lunte and her cherished former students take the stage as the Origins Quartet on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.

Dr. Sandra Lunte, a professor of music at the University of Louisiana Monroe, is a talented musician rewarded and respected for her music expertise. She is celebrating her 31st year as a flute professor on the ULM music faculty with a program including her three former students, music graduates John Rea, Mallory Sanchez and Sarah Owens. Each member of the Origin Quartet selected a piece from the 20th century for the group to perform.

Event is free for ULM students and faculty with I.D.

Kaileah Calloway is a sophomore attending the University of Louisiana Monroe majoring in communication.
