Degrees awarded to 893 graduates at ULM Spring 2025 commencement ceremonies

MONROE, LA – University of Louisiana Monroe Acting President Dr. Nick Bruno awarded degrees to 893 graduates at the Spring 2025 commencement ceremonies on May 19, 2025. Two ceremonies were held for the four colleges: Arts, Education, and Sciences, Business and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Pharmacy, plus the Graduate School.

A total of 893 students earned degrees. Sixteen students earned multiple degrees, 14 doctoral degrees were awarded, and 86 Pharm. D. degrees were awarded. Seven students were Honors Program graduates.

Degrees awarded by college include 161 in Arts, Education, and Sciences, 245 in Business and Social Sciences, 166 in Health Sciences, 99 in Pharmacy, and 238 in the Graduate School.

There were 239 Distinguished Graduates; 45 Summa Cum Laude, 58 Magna Cum Laude, and 136 Cum Laude.

The top Spring 2025 graduates with a 4.0 cumulative GPA were Kiliokamaile K. Alicea, Jonathan Thomas Allums, Caroline Rae Creel, Emily Olivia Greydanus, Jazmin Celeste Gutierrez, Kaitlyn Elaine Keough, Sumiksha Koirala, Logan Kinsley Mangrum, Grace Danielle McIntyre, Subash Sapkota, and Nona Riley Swint.

The degrees for Spring 2025 graduates were officially conferred on May 21, 2025.

Spring 2025 Graduates

Students receiving Baccalaureate degrees were awarded Latin honors in accordance with the following guidelines:

(*) Cum Laude: a cumulative grade point average (GPA) is within the range of 3.500 through 3.749.

(†) Magna Cum Laude: a cumulative GPA is within the range of 3.750 through 3.899.

(‡) Summa Cum Laude: a cumulative GPA is within the range of 3.900 through 4.000.
