ULM Graduation Set For Dec. 19

The University of Louisiana Monroe plans to hold commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020 in Kitty Degree Hall.

Due to state regulations on the number of people who can be in an event at one time, no guests will be allowed in the ceremonies. Separate ceremonies for each college will be held throughout the day in Kitty Degree Nursing Auditorium. The ceremonies will be livestreamed on ULM's YouTube channel and Facebook page.

The schedule is:

8 a.m. – College of Arts, Education, and Sciences
11 a.m. – College of Business and Social Sciences
  3 p.m. – College of Health Sciences
  6 p.m. – College of Pharmacy

*Graduate students will participate with their academic colleges during these time periods.

President Dr. Ron Berry met with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Alberto Ruiz, the college deans, school directors, and the commencement committee to plan a safe and meaningful way to honor the Summer and Fall 2020 ULM graduates.

The temperature of each graduate will be checked before entering the Kitty Degree School of Nursing building. Everyone must wear face masks and practice social distancing.
