Food and Flair at International Student Week

The University of Louisiana at Monroe’s International Student Association will present the annual International Food Fair, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.,Wednesday, April 1, in Student Union Ballroom A, located on the second floor of the Student Union Building.

ULM students, faculty, and staff will provide samples of various cuisine. Beverages will be provided, and food samples will be priced from 50 cents to $1, per item.

“The food fair is exciting for our international students because it provides an opportunity for them to share part of their culture with all of campus and the community,” said Sami Owens, director of international student programs.

“We are particularly excited about this year’s event as it will be one of many major events highlighted during ‘International Week,’ a week dedicated to spotlighting and sharing the many cultures represented on our beautiful campus.  This will be a week that is packed full of new and fun experiences that have their roots in countries all over the world.”

The food fair is an opportunity to sample foods from a wide variety of cultures. Music, presentations, and flags from different countries will also be featured.
