Big Bass Tournament Brings Fishing, Fun, and Prizes

The Ronald McDonald Big Bass Tournament is one of the biggest tournaments in Louisiana.

This year the Ronald McDonald House is holding its 26th annual Big Bass Tournament. June 10th and 11th, the community is invited to fish the Ouachita River for their chance at winning some of the many prizes offered throughout the competition.

This year's tournament is overflowing with opportunities to win prizes. The biggest bass of the tournament will receive $10,000, the second will get $2,500, and the third will get $1,000 cash. There will also be prizes for biggest bass of the hour, first bass to weigh exactly 6.00 pounds, and a raffle prize you are entered in after registering. There is also an Early Bird Special before June 3rd. There will be a drawing for the early birds, and if you register before June 3rd, some of your entry fee will be waved.

The proceeds from this event will go to help keep Monroe's Ronald McDonald House up and running, so that families with children facing sickness will continue to be able to stay there free of charge.

More information on this event and how to register can be found here.
