Raising Funds through the Roaring 20's

Aleta Eley
This is the 5th annual Wig and Stache Bash. All of the proceeds go to support the continuation of classical Christian learning at Geneva Academy.

Friday, February 17th, Geneva Academy is hosting its annual fundraiser, the Wig and Stache Bash. This 1920's themed party will be held at the Vantage Banquet Hall in downtown Monroe from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The bash will include a live and silent auction along with mystery boxes up for bid. Some of the auction items will include one week in a nine bedroom house on Pensacola Beach, a nine- foot farm table made of sunken heart pine, a blue grass party hosted at the Flying Tiger, and art from the area's local artists. There will also be a dessert bash and a free after party for the guests following the reception.

The after party will be in full swing with vendors from local businesses such as Castor and Chicory, Roella Roasters, Ouachita Brewing Company, and Governor's Cigars and Pipes.

General admission to the event is $50. Tickets may be purchased through the school office (318-805-0116), online here, or at the door.
